SHACKLOG can print address labels and QSL labels.
ADDRESS LABELS |
|
SHACKLOG has a Labels Screen which is used to print address labels. Labels can be printed as follows:
Your own address at the touch of a button, for return envelopes
Any address, by manually entering the data
An address from a CD-ROM callbook, by entering the callsign.
QSL LABELS | |
QSL labels can be printed singly from the QSO logging screen
In batches (sorted by call sign if required) for QSOs resulting from a Log Search. QSOs can be marked in the QSL Sent field for later printing of QSL labels; the subsequent printing of QSL labels updates the QSL Sent field to show that the QSL has been sent.
QSL LABEL CONTENT | |
The basic format of the QSL label is fixed. However, SHACKLOG can be configured to add additional information to the QSL label if required. Items that can be added (individually) are:
Details of your radio and antenna
Locators for sending and receiving station
A greetings message | |
QSL manager callsign | |
Although the format of the label is fixed, you can specify your own text.
DIRECT QSLs | |
SHACKLOG can be configured so that when a QSL label is printed for a direct card, a label can be printed for the return envelope at the same time.
ACKNOWLEDGING SWL REPORTS
SHACKLOG has a specific label format for acknowledging SWL reports, and prompts for entry of the SWL’s listener number, which is then printed on the QSL label.
SWL MODE | |
SHACKLOG has a specific label format for SWL reports.
MARGINS | |
SHACKLOG allows configuration of both top and left margins. The top margin can be used to offset printing when printing directly onto the QSL card, rather than to a label. |
