When used in contest mode, after entering a callĀ sign to start logging the QSO, SHACKLOG will use the REMARKS1 field to log the outgoing/incoming serial numbers. Upon termination of the serial number entry (by pressing <enter>), SHACKLOG moves the data entry point the the field specified by NEXT FIELD in the above. Thus for the IOTA contest, NEXT FIELD should be set to IOTA; for CQWW it should be set to CQ ZONE, etc so that, if you wish, data can be entered in this field.
