Importing Logs from other Logging Software |
||
|
Although SHACKLOG has a CONTEST MODE, SHACKLOG really has not been designed to be a contest logger for serious contesters. Serious contesters will probably want to use a specialist contest logger, and then import their logs into their main SHACKLOG station log after the contest. SHACKLOG can import logs from the following formats: |
||
|
Contest loggers |
SD, SDI, SDC | Super-Duper by EI5DI for HF contests |
| SDV | Super-Duper by EI5DI for VHF contests | |
| LOG | G3WGV's contest logger | |
| CT | K1EA's contest logger | |
| NA | K8CC's contest logger | |
| TR | N6TR's contest logger | |
| Regular loggers | SHACKLOG | Import from another SHACKLOG log. |
| G4TYF | Both .LOG & .DTA file formats | |
| LOG-EQF | ||
| Text files | Tab delimited | Using these three text file formats, logs from many additional logging programs can be imported. |
| Comma delimited (.CSV) | The field sequence is user defined for all three formats. | |
| Space separated columns | In this format, the field size is also specified. | |
| Other formats | Specialist formats such as SwissLog, Turbolog etc. can be imported into SHACKLOG, but this is not so straightforward. I provide an import service to convert almost any log to SHACKLOG format. See Ordering for details of prices of this Import Service.. | |
